The buzz building and the new Windows Phone 7 is almost here. I’m excited to check out the devices and the Marketplace, which is where you sell your apps and games. If you want an inside look (I know I do), Microsoft is launching a two-day event that includes development learning sessions and a hands-on app-building workshop. You can attend one or both days, depending on your skills and what interests you most. They’ll also have the new devices available at the workshop, so you can also upload your apps and test how they work – and get help with any bugs or issues. It’s a great chance to get a running start with Windows Phone 7.
Check out the agenda and register here, but do it soon. They’ve put a cap on the attendance.
I’ll be speaking on the design guidelines of Windows Phone at the event. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

It was great watching you channel Christopher Farley — in my opinion you have earned the title of best presenter at the conference. Learned a few good tricks watching you walk through Expression Blend on the second day. Made me realize how much I really do under-utilize this tool. It’s amazing how easy some things really are once demonstrated so adeptly. Thanks!

Hah, thanks for that. I’m glad you enjoyed the presentation.
Yes Blend is awesome, everyone should use it!
