  • ColourLovers.com shows Expression some love too

    Jan 13 2009

Today the announcement came out that ColourLovers.com, a design community site centered around the creation and sharing of inspirational color palettes, has added a special Expression download link to the palettes in three flavors.

    • Expression Design Swatch
    • WPF Resource Dictionary
    • Silverlight XAML Resources

This allows for Expression users to take direct advantage of these great palettes right in the tool.

For those of you who are not familiar with ColourLovers.com here are some of the things this great site allows you to do:

    • Create Colors, Color Palettes, Patterns and more.
    • Share All the Color “Love” with others in the Community
    • You can get access to inspiring palettes or contribute with their own.
    • WPF and Silverlight Developers can visit ColourLovers and download “ready to use” palettes which will help them create better looking/more compelling UIs without knowing much about color!
    • You can read some inspiring and useful color related Articles
    • And find out what are the Color Trends for this year.

Arturo Toledo a product manager at Microsoft has written a tutorial on how to go about using this great addition in Expression Design and Blend which you can find here.

MySpace developers are interested in Silverlight, and we are looking for some open source code for extremely simple demo apps (think Hello World and maybe one step beyond). Can you point me to any?
